This 27 year old artist is currently a full time performer in the Tampa Bay area. His songs stunningly combine the influences of rock, jazz, folk and funk to create an all new sound. Originating from the Philadelphia area and coming from a very musical background, he has been playing since he was very young. His first live radio performance was at the ripe age of 16. He has continued honing his skills performing several various styles of music with various musicians. "The best way to learn an instrument and develop your own style is by studying from several different teachers." This method has proven successful as Ben is not only a full time performer but also sits in for studio work on a regular basis. "I've filled in as a guitarist and a vocalist for everything from Heavy Metal to Country bands." Yet with all the experience, he is considered to be more of a songwriter than anything else. At age 20 Ben was hired as a songwriter for Fun Records, a subdivision of Transcontinental Records. He was asked to write for "O-town" and other up and coming pop groups at the time. In the past few years he has played with several different bands performing high profile gigs such as a John Mayer concert at USF Sundome, Maroon 5 at St. Pete Times Forum as well as the Sundome, Vertiicle Horizon , Gavin DeGraw, & Cake at Jannus Landing. His Indie contract has recently ended and Burnin' Ben is looking forward to finishing a couple albums he has started and playing more shows with the new original band THE FRANKENSTEIN PROJECT.
