James (Ryan) Moat has always been extremely passionate about music, acting, and performing in a life where his family was built around sports and winning state championships individually. At the young age of six, Ryan was learning to wrestle, and run along side his older brothers while spending every free moment singing. But there was always a part of him that loved performing and won a dance competition in the fourth grade. As Ryan got older, he spent all of his time participating in Cross Country, Track & Field, Wrestling, and Golf; however, he always loved music and learned to play songs on the piano on his free time. By the time he became a senior in high school along side with sports he wanted to break out start doing things seen as unusual for him. He auditioned for the drama play and landed a role. Soon afterwards his senior year, finding joy in performing, he sang his first solo to an audience. Ryan, thereafter, dedicated himself to music by teaching himself how to read notes and then by teaching himself to play the piano and guitar. Feeling that he was meant for so much more, he spent an entire summer writing lyrics, music, and then recorded his vocals. Having such a passion for the entertainment industry, Ryan continues writing new music, lyrics, sings daily. He just recently had his big screen debut in S. Darko, the sequel to the Donnie Darko movie. With as much talent, dedication, and determination, Ryan has great plans to become the next "big" someone in the entertainment industry.
